MDL CHLD is a Toronto-based multidisciplinary Accessible Artist that values diversity & inclusion by merging his profession as an American Sign Language Interpreter and his passion for dance, art and music into an entirely new performance approach. With 20+ years of entertainment experience he has worked with Canadian Entertainment Company MLSE to provide accessible entertainment for stadium performances by Jay Z, Panic! At The Disco, and Thomas Rhett, just to name a few. His own work integrates Deaf & Disabled performers while prioritizing LGBTQ+ & BIPOC individuals. As a team they create art that is as unique as it is accessible & diverse. Integrating Sign Language into his dancer’s movements, working with Deaf Performers on stage, and rapping while simultaneously using American Sign Language, MDL CHLD creates a mind-blowing, distinctive performance that sets this crew apart from the rest!

This innovative showcase allows Deaf and hearing audience members to connect in an entirely new way while exposing the world to ASL performance art and Deaf/Disabled collaborations alike.
